DROP OFF:

Please be punctual. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment we may have to re-schedule. We work by appointment only; the appointment slot allocated for your pet's groom has been booked for you only. A no-show results in lost income. We treat late arrival as a missed appointment, in which case 100% of the booking will be charged to the card on file prior to accepting future bookings. We offer a free appointment reminder via text. 

 

COLLECTION:

Once your dog is complete we will send a text message to collect your dog within 30mins. Any dog not collected at the agreed collection time will be charged a daycare fee which will be added to your bill. 

 

MATTING:

If we deem the matting to be extreme will advise a shave down of your dog as this will be the most humane thing to do. This will be a short clip, removing all the matting. 

Extreme matting is unable to be brushed out as this would cause undue pain and suffering for your dog. Prevention is the best method to avoid matting. We are happy to show you how to use the line brushing technique to correctly maintain your dogs coat between grooming appointments. A matting fee of $50 will be added to your bill to cover for additional time and wear and tear on equipment. 

 

CANCELLATION POLICY:

We require 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. 48 hours gives us the time to find someone to fill the lost appointment. We are a small business so any cancellations and no-shows result in a loss of income. Customers are required to provide a valid card on file at the time of booking. 50% of the booking total will be charged should an appointment be cancelled with less than 48 hours notice or if continual re-scheduling occurs. If a customer no-shows 100% of the booking total will be charged.

 

OTHER: 

Please ensure your dog comes in on a leash, has had the chance to potty prior to arrival and if your dog is particularly energetic to have a big play or walk to tire them out. It is expected that your dog is up to date with vaccinations, flea, tick and worming. To limit risks and provide a safe environment we only accept dogs that DO NOT have dog aggression as there will be other dogs during the day for doggy daycare and grooming. Should your dog require a 1-on-1 appointment please contact us directly. If at any point your dog becomes overly stressed we will end the session and finish on a positive note. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule an appointment if we feel the need to do so. Every effort will be made to reschedule at a time convenient for both the client and the groomer.    
 

DECLARATION: 

By signing this form I confirm that as the owner (or with the full permission of the owner) hereby give permission to K9 Kulture Daycare & Spa to proceed with the agreed grooming requirements as discussed and from what information is given in these consent forms. If any additional grooming is absolutely necessary I understand that the groomer will try to contact me for permission. If this is not possible and I cannot be reached I hereby authorise K9 Kulture Daycare & Spa to proceed with the grooming session and I will be responsible for any additional costs for unseen things such as dematting / fleas / late pickup / difficult dog / additional time etc. If emergency veterinary care is needed I hereby authorise K9 Kulture Daycare & Spa to proceed as they deem necessary and in the best interest of my dog. I understand and agree to reimburse any vet charges as a result. I have read and agree to the terms and conditions in this form. I have answered truthfully and highlighted any concerns that have.
